What if you were a bee?
You may not fly like a bird, but your different rhythm may be exactly what allows you to fulfil your purpose.

What if you were a bee?
For years, people said that according to science, the bee should not be able to fly: Its body was too big while its wings were too small => The ratio did not make sense. And yet, here we are... the bee flies.
For decades, scientists looked at this small creature and tried to understand the mystery. How could such tiny wings move around 230 times per second and carry a body that, by conventional logic, looked too heavy for the air?
For the sake of clarity, the bee does not fly gracefully like an eagle, it does not soar like a bird, it does not need to impress the sky. It simply flies just enough to fulfill its function.
And I guess, that is the whole message: The bee never read the research written about its limitations; it never sat in a room wondering whether the experts had approved its design. It never compared its wings to the wings of a bird, it simply did what its Creator had programmed it to do. And on this Sunday, it struck me: maybe we are just that bee.
- Society keeps showing you the model of birds and telling you:
“You cannot fly like them.”
- Some systems make you believe that one day your wings will become like theirs and you will be legitimate.
- Some voices tell you to stop flying and start walking, because your structure does not fit their theory.
And yet... you fly, not always beautifully, not always easily... Not always in a way people understand. But you move, you rise, you carry weight: You serve a purpose.
This is the art of surrender that I'm discovering through The Surrender Project:
- Not fighting every opinion, every doubt, every limitation people projected on your life.
- Surrender is not resignation but pure alignment, walk in peace even in the darkest storm.
Maybe your wings are not wrong. Maybe your rhythm is just different. Maybe you were never created to fly like a bird. Maybe you were created to fly like a bee.
